Included quotas, additional packs, consumption tracking.

How credits work

Every AI action in the configurator is metered in credits shared by your whole store (all staff users and all B2C customers of your embed). Your balance is the sum of two buckets:

• Offered credits — 3 AI generations (3 complete jerseys) are offered once, when your store opens; they are not renewed each month. Plans (Free, Essentiel, Pro, Business) include no monthly AI credits. Stores on a former plan keep their monthly quota — see Pricing for the current amounts.
• Extra credits — one-time packs you purchase. They never expire and carry over across billing cycles.

remaining = included + extra − used. Credits are only deducted when a generation succeeds — failed generations and requests blocked by the anti-abuse layer are never charged.

What consumes credits

Regenerating a design costs a new credit each time. Inserting an already-generated design onto the canvas costs nothing.

Monthly reset

Included credits renew automatically once per monthly cycle: on the reset date, your used counter goes back to zero and the included quota for your current plan is refilled. The exact date of your next reset is shown under the Remaining counter on the AI Credits page ("Resets on …"). Unused included credits do not roll over; extra (purchased) credits are untouched by the reset.

Buying additional packs

From your dashboard, open AI Generation (/app/ai-credits.html) → Buy additional credits. Three one-time packs are available, paid by card via Stripe Checkout:

Credits are added to your extra balance automatically as soon as Stripe confirms the payment — no manual step required. Purchases are idempotent: a payment can never be credited twice.

Where to see your balance

The AI Generation page in the dashboard shows four live counters — Included this month, Extra purchased, Used, Remaining — plus the next reset date, a history of recent generations (prompt, style, whether the design was inserted, date) and anti-abuse block statistics for the last 24h / 7 days. The AI panel in the configurator also displays the remaining credits to your customers before each generation.

Programmatically, the balance is available on the API:

When the balance reaches 0

Once remaining hits zero:

• The Generate button in the AI panel is disabled and a "Buy credits" link is shown.
• The API answers 402 with "AI credits exhausted. Buy a pack or wait for the next cycle." (packs: 10 / 50 / 200 designs = €39 / €149 / €499 excl. VAT) for any credit-consuming call.

To resume immediately, buy a pack (extra credits are usable right away); otherwise generation reopens automatically at the next monthly reset.

Fair-use limits (independent of credits)

Credits are your commercial quota, but requests also pass through anti-abuse protections that apply regardless of your balance: a cooldown between generations, per-session / per-IP / per-store hourly and daily caps, a prompt blocklist, and a Cloudflare Turnstile bot check (see Writing good AI prompts). A blocked request returns 429 or 403 and consumes no credit. In rare cases the platform may also pause AI generation temporarily (503 with a Retry-After header). You can turn the whole AI feature off for your customers at any time with the toggle on the AI Generation page.
