πŸ’‘ Writing good AI prompts

Tips for clean vector results.

Prompt structure

A good jersey prompt has three parts: subject + visual treatment + colors. Keep it between 5 and 200 characters (enforced by the API) β€” one clear subject beats a paragraph.

[subject] a phoenix rising, wings spread
[visual treatment] symmetric, tribal shapes
[colors] red and gold on dark background

The rendering style itself (flat, outline, doodle, cartoon, abstract, icon) is not written in the prompt: it is picked with the style selector and sent separately β€” see The 6 vector styles. Use the prompt to describe what, use the style to define how.

Good vs. bad β€” sport examples

Patterns that work well on jerseys: club emblems and crests, animal mascots, geometric/tribal motifs, mandalas, stylized equipment (helmet, ball, racket), mountain/sun/wave landscapes, interlaced vintage lettering shapes.

Prompt language

Prompts are sent to the generation engine as-is. English gives the most predictable results, but short, concrete prompts in French (or other languages) also work well β€” the built-in example prompts in the panel are in French. Whatever the language, stay concrete: nouns, shapes and colors translate better than abstract adjectives.

Content rules and rate limits

Prompts are checked before generation. The following are blocked and consume no credit:

Anti-abuse limits also apply: an 8-second cooldown between generations, and after 2 generations in a session a Cloudflare Turnstile anti-bot check appears before the next one. Per-session, per-IP and per-store hourly/daily caps protect your quota; blocked attempts are listed on your AI Generation dashboard page.

Iterating without wasting credits

Each generation (including "Regenerate") costs 1 credit β€” see AI Credits. To iterate efficiently: change one thing at a time (subject wording, then style, then colors), preview before inserting, and reuse past results from the generation history instead of regenerating the same prompt.
